And now I'm sunny with a high of 75...since you took my heavy heart and made it light.

Here comes the bride...

Hey, its my birthday today.  Just thought I'd brag to everyone about it.  I'm the big 2-5.  It's funny for me to think that at this time next year I will be known as Amanda Mae Schutter.  I don't know about you but I'm most certainly stoked.

By the way, my wedding is August 22nd, 2009.  And you're not invited.  So go cry to your mama.  It's going to be more than awesome.  We have the hall, catering, dj, and church picked out.  That's the most important stuff anyway...  Now I just need the dress, flowers, photography, and a million other things and we'll be all set.  If anyone has some suggestions, feel free to tell me.

Later yo.

Mandi

Somewhere over the rainbow...

Well, life has been rather excellent lately!  I still don't have a job but that's cool.  But guess what!  I'm engaged!!!  Steve asked me to marry him this past Sunday!  And in the most romantic way!  And of course I said yes!  We're hoping to get married next August.  That would be ideal.

And it was pretty much the best weekend ever since we saw Batman on Saturday and got engaged on Sunday!!!

I hope that someone out there on my subscriptions list actually still checks these.  Otherwise I wrote this for nothing....

That temp agency could have sent you anywhere...

I think about that all the time.

Anyway, here's what is new with me.

I'm jobless.

Laid off.

A f***ing bum.

I love not being able to have money to buy shoes or food.  I also love just being stuck at home all the time.  And I of course love being bored out of my mind.  I'm little bit bitter about it at the moment.  I've had one interview since the lay off.  Probably screwed that one up.  Oh well, at least its experience being interviewed.  It's really crappy, you know.  You think you're safe and secure in a job and then BOOM, you find out the opposite.  I don't know what ever happened to loyalty.  Companies used to keep good employees.  These days its all about how to save the most money.  Oh well.  I'm thinking about becoming an alcoholic.  It's pretty much my only option at the moment.

Anyway, I'm super bored right now.  I'm alone on a Friday night.  It's not very fun.  I pity people who have to do this every Friday.  Steve is at some boxing thing watching people get the shiz-nit beat out of them.  I'm at home updating my xanga.  Damn, I'm lame.

Bye bye.

He's the greatest dancer...

So, I don't think anyone even reads this anymore, and I'm okay with that.  I'm not into that facebook and myspace stuff.  I like my good old xanga, aka janga.

Here's what's going on in my life currently.

1. I'm on a diet.  Kind of.  Lets just say I'm eating better than before.  I've lost four pounds, which would be cool if it hadn't taken a month and a half to do.  But at least I'm losing weight and eating better.  Not as much of that fast food junk and sugary pop in my system anymore.

2.  I'm in an amazing relationship with the most awesome guy.  We have our issues like any relationship, but I personally feel like we're getting closer and closer everyday.  We've looked at rings.  I won't show you the link to it now, but I will after I get it.  So if you really want to see it, bug Steve into giving it to me quicker. I'll describe it somewhat though.  Its very shiny, sparkly, and pretty.  We've been discussing marriage and family type stuff a lot lately, so I feel its going to happen soon!

3.  I'm still thinking of moving out soon.  It all depends on if I am brave enough or not.  I found cool apartments close by and they are affordable.  I want to move out desperately, but I also want to keep on saving money.  And if I move out, I wont be able to save as much for like a wedding and stuff.  But I want my independence so badly.  So I'm just going to keep on thinking about it.

4.  My job....well, its a job.  My one year anniversary will be coming up in March.  I really didn't think I'd make it this long.  But my job has a lot of perks.  People we buy stuff fromand my boss take us out to lunch a lot, I get to leave early on Fridays, two weeks off paid vacation for Christmas, and the people are pretty cool.  But...no vacation in the summer, I'd like to make at least a dollar more per hour, and no advancement.  Pisser.  I'd still like to find work at a hospital or doctors office, but you need experience to do any of that.  So its just a cycle of shit.

5.  I'm a dancing fool.  Steve got DDR for his Xbox 360 and that game could not be more fun.  I'm not the best at it, but I have lots of fun playing.  There are a lot of good songs on it too.  Songs I wouldn't have expected to be on it.

6.  Steve and I are attempting the final level of difficulty on Halo 3.  Legendary.  It's way harder.  But I know we can do it.  Did I ever mention how much I have come to love the game of Halo?  Well I do.  Steve got me hooked.  And I couldn't be happier.

Well, that's all for my update.  I doubt anyone will read this, but if you do, leave a comment.  I used to get like at least 10 comments per entry back in the day....
